Projects

HM King Charles III and Queen Camilla Coronation
Leading the development of accessible infrastructure, key focus areas included the parade route, grandstand seating at Buckingham Palace, viewing areas along the route to Westminster Abbey and the production and outdoor broadcast areas. Working closely with the coronation expert advisory panel, ensuring there was clear physical access and clear communication for both the public and invited guests. The goal was simple: make the once-in-a-lifetime event accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), Glasgow
For COP26 in Glasgow, accessibility and inclusion were key priorities, especially for disabled attendees. Representing the client in meetings with the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, as well as the United Nations, work was undertaken to ensure accessibility was embedded across every aspect of the conference.
Gideon worked to ensure accessible facilities and operational advice for a 40,000-strong attendee list

Bristol Beacon
In the redevelopment of Bristol Beacon, he was deeply involved in ensuring that the space was accessible, particularly in the transformation of the historic music hall and its venues.
Phase 2 of the project saw a complete overhaul, including a new performance and learning space in the 1400s bonded cellars, which became a permanent home for the Para Orchestra.
The project wasn’t just about restoring a building; it was about reimagining it as a space that welcomed everyone, and provided a cultural hub for inclusivity.

The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023
At the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023, it was key to create an inclusive environment for a global audience of leaders, business representatives, and the media. From messaging to infrastructure and operational planning, every detail was considered. Key work ensured the event layout was easy to navigate and attendees were informed and communicated with every step of the way.
